Who are we?
Our core team are foreign nationals who have lived / worked in the Balkans for more than 17 years and travelled extensively around the region, paired with a dedicated and talented local support team. Our business could not work without the fantastic local guides, travel agency partners and local businesses who support us with an excellent service. Take our knowledge of the region and expertise in putting together travel plans and combine with the services of our valued partners, for the ultimate experience in Montenegro and the Western Balkans.
Jack Delf
Hayley Wright
Following a successful London career in media and marketing, Jack travelled the world’s wilder parts and spent time living with a remote tribe in Papua New Guinea before discovering the spectacular Western Balkans region. Jack is Managing Director of Black Mountain and a consultant for sustainable tourism development, branding and marketing for emerging tourism markets. Jack has GSTC Sustainable Tourism Certification and has worked with destinations around the globe in the development and support of sustainable tourism. Jack is an RYA Yachtmaster, PADI advanced scuba diver and off-road driving enthusiast. Jack introduced the Leave No Trace program to Montenegro and is a Master Educator of the program.
An avid adventurer and snow lover, Hayley has travelled to some of the world's remotest and coldest places, including a ski expedition to the North Pole, a winter spent living in Siberia and visits to Everest base camp, the far north of Alaska and the snows of Kilimanjaro. The move into adventure travel as a career was a natural progression. Hayley is a Leave No Trace trainer, holds certification in Expedition Management and Biodiversity research, GSTC Sustainable Tourism and a Bachelor's degree in Russian language. Hayley also speaks Montenegrin. Hayley looks after agency relations, new product development and tailor made travel at Black Mountain. Work is juggled with the care of her own two young and energetic adventurers.
