Black Mountain specialises in teambuilding and leadership training courses. We also offer Outdoor awareness courses, outdoor survival courses and can provide qualified instructors to teach RYA sailing qualifications, kayaking and water survival courses, mountain first aid skills and a host of other outdoor activity related qualifications. Typically our corporate training courses are tailored to individual needs and provide some classroom time along with an outdoors pre-planned / structured teambuilding event. Courses can be designed from one day to one week (or longer if required). Usually businesses opt for a long weekend spent with us, with a Thursday afternoon arrival, some classroom time and first aid instruction on the first day and Friday morning, followed by departure to the field location for one or two nights outdoors, under canvas or in mountain huts. Accommodation can be arranged in hotels for the entire stay if the team do not wish to camp out overnight.

Activities can include all of those listed on our website, but typically include kayaking, mountain biking, abseiling, hiking, team building games, sailing training and clay pigeon shooting. We can also include Leave No Trace workshops as part of the training and elements of the programme are current throughout our approach to recreation in the outdoors.
